A reader wants to know how to move an existing bookmark onto the bookmark bar in Chrome.
“How do I get an Icon onto the Chrome bookmark bar itself? I am using Yahoo Mail, with Windows10, 64 bit. My bank info is saved in bookmark file but does not appear on the bar itself. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.”
Start by opening Chrome. Click the three-dot menu icon and choose Bookmarks from the drop-down menu.
Look for the bookmark you want on the bar in the recently used list or click on Bookmark manager to see a full list.
Click and drag on the icon you want to move to the bar.
Drag it to the bar and then release.
