Authentic Growth

Severe depression runs in my family, and I’ve suffered from it from time to time myself, but the best way I’ve found to prevent falling into a down cycle is to be productive and proactive. Accepting my feelings, allowing myself to have them, but not dwelling on any Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs). I knew I had to be proactive in dealing with my disappointment and retuning my thought process, so I’d be prepared to try again. I went looking to the internet for inspiration and found this site.

I’m directing you to the About page as your landing pad on your visit to the site, because it lays out how the site works and why it was created. If this isn’t something that is for you, you’ll know right away and don’t have to click through multiple screens to figure that out. If sounds like something that would help you, you’ll be ready to delve deeper.

Sticking around? Well then, just click the Authentic Growth logo at the top of the page to be whisked away to the main page where you’ll find the latest blog post featured. Your other options can be found on the navigation strip where you’ll find the following categories: Overcome Your Past, Develop Your Mind, Fuel Your Growth, and Read These Books. I’ve been poking through all the sections and while not everything is specifically helpful to me, I have found a few things that really are.

I hope you’ll check this site out for yourself today!
