A quick update on how to take a screenshot on new Samsung Galaxy phones. Previously, with Galaxy models, you pressed the volume down button and then pressed and held the power button.
With newer models, you still press the volume down button, but you only press the power button for a moment. Just press and immediately release. The screen will shrink slightly to indicate the screenshot was successful.

You’ll then see a menu that allows you to edit the screenshot at the bottom of the screen.

Tap the edit icon at the left to crop or write on the image.

Choose between several styles of writing tools and colors.

Use your finger or stylus to draw on the screen.

Tap the Share icon to share your screenshot. You can share via email, social media, text, or messaging app.
