ManageWindows 10 Interests

Yesterday, I introduced you to Windows 10 Interests. (Click here to read that tip.) Today, I’ll show you how to customize those interests. To open Interests, hover over the icon on your taskbar.

You’ll see news, weather, and traffic displayed in a pop-up window.

To customize, click Manage interests at the top right.

Microsoft Edge will open to this page:

At the left, you can choose between interests like News, Entertainment, Sports, Money, Lifestyle, and more.

Click the + icon to add items to your Interests feed.

Choose Local and then select your area at the right to add news from your area.

You can follow Publishers like CNN, FOX, or the Associated Press as well.

You can also block certain publishers, so their content won’t appear in your feed. Just find a story from that publisher in your Interests Feed. Click the three-dot icon at the top-right

You can choose to hide the story or hide all stories from that publisher.

You can also decide whether you want items like Sports, Weather, and Traffic displayed. Click the three-dot menu icon at the top of the box.

Choose Hide card from the menu.
