Mailbox Map

Mailbox Map allows you to locate any United States Mailbox near you. I hate when I have mail to put out and miss the mailman. It always seems like that’s the day a sub is working and they do the route differently, so our mail gets picked up earlier. It wasn’t much of a problem a few years ago. I could just run around the corner to the blue USPS mailbox by the bank. But since then a bunch of those mailboxes have been pulled and it’s harder to find one.

After this happened the other day, I decided it’d be nice to be able to find a box that was on my way to work. So I searched the web for a mailbox locator site and discovered this one! It’s really easy to use. Just type in the location name (you can do  City, State, just State, or even Zip Code). Then the map will display any mailboxes or postal office near the location you entered.  Or use GPS aqnd let the site determine your location.

If you click on the bulleted mailbox location, it will display the address of the box and the collection times.

If you’re traveling outside of the United States, you can also find boxes in location around the world or at the very least post offices. I thought that was really handy!

This is a great way to track down a mailbox, and get your mail where it needs to go.

  1. Mailbox information (collection mailboxes) is on the U.S. Post Office website. It includes information such as days of collection and a map to show location.
