A reader’s account was hacked and now they need help.
“My Facebook account got hacked and the hacker changed my password and now I can’t login to Facebook- I tried to open a new account and The hacker changed my email and cell number which shows up and can’t be changed and so when they say they’re sending an authorization code I never receive it and can’t continue- What can I do? That also resulted in me losing my Instagram and Messenger also.”
The priority is to get your account back. I had this happen to me once after using public WiFi at a book signing. You should immediately report the incident to Facebook. Follow this link to go to the Hacked Accounts page:

Follow the guided instructions.

Even if you don’t have access to the phone number and email address associated with the account they should be able to tell you. One of the big mistakes people make when this happens is not reporting the incident to Facebook and just creating another account. When it happened to me, Facebook was extremely helpful and I had the account back in a couple of days.
Make sure you enable two-factor authentication on your account when you retrieve it to prevent this from happening in the future.
