Sometimes it’s convenient to rename multiple files at once. Here’s how to do it on your Mac. Find the files in Finder.
Select the files you want to rename.
Click the round settings icon at the top.
Choose Rename from the drop-down menu.
You can choose to replace or add text to the files.
Or switch the format and add numbers or date.
Make sure to hit Rename when you’ve made your choices.
