If you use an Android phone, there’s a whole secret menu of voice-activated shortcuts you probably haven’t tried. Here’s how to unlock them. Start by activating your Google Assistant by saying, “Hey Google” or tapping the microphone icon. Then say, “Show me Assistant Settings.”

Then scroll down through the settings to Shortcuts.

You’ll see a list of suggested shortcuts based on your habits.

Or scroll down and see all of the apps with voice shortcuts options.

Just tap on an app to see the options. For example in the Chrome browser, you have to option to add vocal commands to open a new incognito tab or a new tab.

Just tap on the plus sign to add the commands.
