Earth Rangers

This is an excellent site that teaches kids about the environment through articles, games, and missions! To learn more, check out their About page.

When you arrive at the site, you’ll find lots of featured content on the main page like a mission (when I was there it was protecting beluga whales and doing a taste test of tap versus bottled water), amazing animals, the wild blog, and animal videos.

Along the top of the page you’ll find the navigation menu where you’ll find the categories: Parents, Teachers, Conservation, News & Events, Supporters, and Get Involved.

You can also download the free app for Android, iPhone, or Kindle tablet. The app features more than 20 fun missions to teach kids about the environment. Activities include planting trees, energy conservation, creating a butterfly garden, and recycling.

There are also opportunities to support real-life conservation projects and earn virtual badges for activities. Kids can test their knowledge with a daily trivia game and enjoy customizable avatars.

Check it out now.
