Is your Chromebook running a bit slow? I’ve got 4 quick tips that can speed things up.
Turn it off and on – Yep, the old ‘have you tried turning it off and on?’ There’s a reason this is a classic. It works. Reset your Chromebook every day. Don’t just close the lid. Turn it off.

Close some tabs – Chrome can be a resource hog, so close any browser tabs that are not currently in use.
Clear your hard drive – Most Chromebooks don’t have a lot of hard drive space to start, so be careful to not let it fill up. Chromebooks are designed to be used with cloud storage. Store what you can in your Google Drive and clean out your hard drive regularly.
Disable or delete extensions – Extensions are great, but they can slow things down. You can try disabling them one at a time to see what the culprit is or just reset your Chrome browser and disable them all.
