Not a fan of Windows 11 Widgets? I’ll show you how to get rid of the icon in your taskbar. Click on the Widget icon at the far left and you’ll see a menu of weather, news, and other information.
Here’s how to remove the icon from your taskbar and ensure that you don’t accidentally open the menu.
Right-click a blank space on the Taskbar. Then click on Taskbar settings.
When the menu opens, scroll down to Widgets and move the slider to the Off position.
The Widgets icon will disappear.
