A friend of mine recently ran into an issue with her new phone. When she wanted to reply to a message in Facebook Messenger, the keyboard covered the field where she needed to type.
She tried a variety of solutions, including changing the keyboard and flipping the phone to horizontal. However, the solution was pretty easy. Reduce either the size of the keyboard or the text.
Here’s how to do it on an Android phone. Tap the three-dot More menu when you have the keyboard open.
Choose Keyboard Size.
Then drag the handles on the box that appears to adjust the keyboard size and hit Done when you’re finished.
On an iPhone, you can open the Settings app and head to Display and Brightness.
Then scroll down to View. Make sure you’re set on Standard and not Zoomed.
