Turn on Mac Sticky Keys

Ever have difficulty pressing multiple keys at the same time to perform a function on Mac? For example, Cmd + Shift + 4? Sticky keys allows you to press keys individually in sequences instead of attempting to depress multiple keys. This can be a great feature for those with limited mobility or hand injuries.

Here’s how to activate them. Start by clicking the Apple icon and choosing System Preferences from the drop-down menu.

Then select Accessibility.

Scroll down and choose Keyboard.

You have the option to tick boxes next to Sticky Keys and Slow Keys. Turn on Stick Keys and you won’t have to hold down keys like Option, Control, or Command to perform functions. Enabling Slow Keys slows town the time between when a key is pressed and when it is activated.
