A reader needs some help:
“Please help! I turned on predictive text when typing on my computer, and have changed my mind. I cannot remember how I turned it on!!!!!”
A predictive keyboard offers suggestions for words based on words you frequently use when typing. Here’s an example on my phone:

This can make typing go substantially faster once your device learns some of your most used phrases. You can also enable this feature on your Windows 11 PC using a physical keyboard.
Type Show text suggestions as I type into the search box and click on the results.

Select Typing and then scroll down to Hardware keyboard. Turn on Show text suggestions. If you’ve accidentally turned predictive typing on, just slide it to the Off position. You also have the option to turn on Autocorrect.
