You probably know that Windows 11 has a calculator but do you know all of the amazing things it can do? Let’s start by either tying Calculator in the search box and click on the result. Or open the Start Menu and choose Calculator from the app list.

When you first open it, you see a fairly standard calculator.

You can adjust the size of the app window by clicking on the edges and dragging.

Click the three-line menu bar at the top left.

And you’ll get a long list of additional options. You have a choice between Standard, Scientific, Graphing, and Programmer calculators.

There’s also Date Calculation. Enter two dates and you’ll see the number of days between them.

Or add and subtract days.

Use the currency calculator to convert money.

Choose the currency from the pop-up menu.

You also have options for converting Volume, Length, Weight and Mass, Temperature, Energy, Area, Speed, Time, Power, Data, Pressure, and Angle.

Check it out!

Terrific , who knew.
Yes, I use it all the time. I don’t like a cluttered task bar, but this is one of the very few items I keep pinned and handy.
Another feature, if you need a “tape” of what you have entered, click on the little clock in the upper right and it will show your history of the current calculations, so you can see where you went wrong 😕.
