Use Google Image Search

Have a picture of something you’re interested in but no other information? Let’s check out an easy Google search feature that can help you learn more.

Start by opening Google and tap the camera icon in your search field.

Google Lens will open and you’ll get a prompt to upload an image or take a photo if you’re using your phone. There’s also an option to paste a link to the photo online.

I found a really neat dollhouse for sale at a great price and I was interested in learning more about it, so I uploaded this picture.

I received these results.

I was able to find information about the manufacturer and images of what other people had done with their dollhouses.

You can also search for people. In fact, it’s one way to spot scammers with fake social media accounts. Search their photos. This person claims to be named Raymond Chandler.

Results show this image has been used with multiple accounts.
