Microsoft is slipping ads into the Windows 11 Start Menu. These will come in the form of “recommendations.”
If you’d prefer to skip their paid suggestions, it’s pretty easy to turn off. Start by typing Start settings into your search box and clicking on the results.
Then scroll down to Show recommendations for tips, app promotions, and more.
Slide the switch to the Off position.
