Yesterday, in part 1 of this series, we started putting together a collage in Canva, a great, free online editing program. If you haven’t read it yet, check it out by clicking here.
Today we’re going to finish our project.
Click on the image with your mouse, and hold it. Then, drag the image into the collage and un-click the mouse when your image is hovering over the image position that you like.

 7. Repeat this until all your desired images are in the collage! It could take up to ten images, to fully fill your collage.
8. Depending on whatever collage you’ve picked, there will be text boxes superimposed on the collage. You can change this text by personalizing it with your own captions.
Double click on the text you want to change, and it will highlight. Type your desired text into the field. If you want to change the font of the text, click on the font box which is in the grey menu that pops up when you highlight the text.
6
You can change the color by clicking on the colored circle. Select which color you like from the menu.
9. If you want to move the position of your text, simply click on the text, hold down your mouse and drag it to the area you want to place it. When you’re satisfied on where it is, drop it into place by un-clicking your mouse.
7
10. When you are satisfied with your design, click on the “Download” button.

Once your photo collage is downloaded, you can email it to your friends, share it on Facebook or print it out. There are a variety of options available!
As you can see from this tutorial, you can quickly make your very own photo collage, without any expensive software or highly technical skills (like Photoshop requires, for example). You should definitely get to work on creating a photo collage. It can preserve memories, moments and create a memento that you can look back on in years to come. Remember, as long as you use the free elements on Canva, there’s no charge to download the images. Paid elements have prices displayed on them.
