The Vintage News brings you an awesome article about a beautiful train, The McKeen Railmotor, with great images and information.

The McKeen Railmotor trains were used in the early 1900s. The article states they were popular in the US from 1915 to 1930, but that they only ran in service in Australia for roughly 3 years.

When you arrive at the site you’ll be greeted by a great color photograph of the railcar. Then the article follows after it. Throughout the article you’ll find even more pictures of the motorcar.

I love the style of the car. It’s very sleek. Apparently, the pointed aerodynamic front end and rounded tail were distinct to the line.

The video link at the end of the article didn’t work for me, so I went hunting and found this video of a 1910 restored  McKeen Motorcar.  You can check it out here.
