Kill Screen is a video game arts and culture company that publishes articles on those topics on this website and in a magazine. They have teamed up with writers from GQ, Esquire, the New Yorker, Colbert Report, and more to bring you the latest in gaming news and information.
They’ve gotten rave reviews from Wired, Ars Technica, NPR, TIME, and the New Yorker. In fact, I discovered them on NPR back in 2012, but this article came across my desk and reminded me of them, so I thought I’d share the site with all of you.
When you arrive at the site you’ll find their featured content and news. Then to get to more articles (if nothing on the main page catches your eye) you can click Articles on the navigation strip near the top of the page which will take you to the archive.
Next up is Playlists! This section makes suggestions as to what games you should try playing now! You can select the platform you want to play on, and the amount of playtime the game takes to get game recommendations. I love that the platform section includes mobile devices! I feel like it’s hard to get good recommendations for mobile games. I’m always looking for something interesting to play as a quick study break this time of year.
Go check this site out for yourself today!
