Sling TV users with Amazon Fire TVs, Fire TV Sticks and Fire tablets – you can now get 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage for $5 per month with any Sling TV subscription on any of the Cloud DVR-supported devices you use (no limits)! Don’t have a Amazon Fire TV or Fire tablet? Additional devices and users will expand in future months beginning with Apple TV and likely for Android TV, Android devices and Roku, which were part of the initial BETA program. Important note: users cannot save or download recordings to a computer for offline viewing.

Users get access to new features, like setting recordings on-the-go, as well as future updates, like the ability to record more channels, protect recordings and group recorded series into folders.

This new Cloud DVR “First Look” program works for Amazon Fire TVs and Fire tablets and include the following features:

• Watch anytime, anywhere – Record your favorites and watch whenever you want across all Amazon Fire TVs and Fire tablets, Android mobile devices, Android TVs, Roku streaming players and Roku TVs.
• Conflict-free recording – Record multiple programs simultaneously, and forget about recording conflicts. Cloud DVR functionality not available on all channels.
• Keep recordings as long as you want – With Sling TV, you won’t run in to expirations on your recordings, so you can keep them as long as you have the Cloud DVR.
• Easily manage your recordings – Sling TV will make room for new recordings by deleting your oldest ‘watched’ recording when capacity is full, so you can binge on your new favorite show.

Add this DVR service (logged into your SlingTV account) through the Sling TV app on your Amazon Fire TV or Fire tablet (Select “Add Cloud DVR”). Check out for more details.

It’s also now SHOWTIME where new and existing Sling TV customers get eight Showtime channels for $10 per month, including nearly 2,000 on-demand titles.

Heartland Extra ($5 per month) was just added with Sling Orange and Sling Blue with family-friendly sitcoms, timeless movies, outdoor entertainment and more. Heartland Extra adds six new channels including Family Net, Outdoor Channel and more.

Finally, three new Spanish-language channels to “Best of Spanish TV,” Estrella TV, Vme Kids and El Financiero|Bloomberg TV, giving customers access to even more comedies, kids’ programming and financial news. Best of Spanish TV is still priced at $10 per month as a standalone service or $5 per month when paired with Sling Orange and/or Sling Blue.
