Welcome to the Cold War Museum! It offers an interesting way to look at the history of the Cold War. They’ve created an exhibit that features chronological essays that tell the history surrounding the Cold War through narrative.

When you arrive at the site, you’ll find the timeline presented at the top of the page, featured content just below it, and to the left a navigation menu. I recommend starting with the 1940s on the Timeline and working your way through the content chronologically.

On the left side menu, you’ll also find the Exhibits section. Click into it and then select Online Exhibits. This will give you more content to browse through. For example, if you check out the Ballistic and Cruise Missile Threat, you’ll be taken to it’s landing page where you’ll find an image, and a new navigation menu with Key Findings, The Threat, Warheads and Targets, Missile Characteristics, and more.

On the left side menu, you’ll also find the Trivia Game! This is an interactive game where you answer trivia questions about the cold war. I had a  50/50 success rate on these questions. You have to answer correctly before moving on. I learned so much from playing this trivia game.

This is a really interesting way to look at the history of the Cold War. Go check it out for yourself today!
