If you’re one of those brave souls who doesn’t mind wading into Black Friday shopping, there are some pretty great deals on tech and other stuff waiting for you this year. (Black Friday, for those of you outside of the U.S. and not familiar with the term, refers to the day after American Thanksgiving, often considered the start of the Christmas shopping season. Many Americans have that day off as part of a long holiday weekend, though it’s not an official holiday. In recent years, stores outside of the U.S. have started to hold Black Friday sales.)
Fantastic deals on electronics are as much a Black Friday tradition as leftover turkey. This year is no exception. Walmart is offering a Chromebook for $119 and two Windows notebooks running Windows 10 for only $179. Best Buy has a Chromebook for even less, only $99.
I’ve found a neat site that rounds up all of the Black Friday ads for major retailers. The site is aptly named theblackfriday.com. The interface is simple, just click on the retailer to see the Black Friday ad. The site also features weekly flyers and ads from major retailers all year round and offers coupons.
Here’s a look at the Best Buy ad.
