Brian has a question but first, he’s going to flatter me a little:
“Cyn, I just want to thank you for continuing this Tech Tips. I can’t tell you how much it has helped me become more tech savvy. I can’t tell you how many times I have used your information from Tech Tips in my daily life as an Emergency Management Coordinator. I really appreciate it and plan on upgrading in my next cycle. One question I thought of as I was typing this: Is there a way to get back an internet explorer tab closed by mistake? (I mean other than retyping the address in the address bar or going through the history icon? Anyways, You Are The Greatest!!!”
Thank you so very much! I’m certainly not going to argue with you. Fortunately, I’ve got a super-simple answer to your problem. Yay me!
Look to the far right of your address bar.
See that little arrow next to the refresh icon? Click on it.
You’ll see a list of recently visited sites. Just click on the one you want to open.

Though an excellent tip, CTL SHIFT+T works as well.
