The latest version of Google Chrome browser comes with some great customization features. You can now change your background to any image you want without the need to install a browser extension. Let’s see how it works. Open a new tab in Chrome.
Click the gear symbol at the bottom right.
Under Customize this page, you have a choice between Chrome backgrounds and uploading an image.
To use an image provided by Google, click on Chrome backgrounds. You’ll have a choice of several categories of images. Select the one you want.
Then scroll through and find your preferred image and click Done.
It will now be your background.
To choose your own images, pick Upload an image.
Choose an image and click Open.
Your image will now display.
Choose Restore default background to reset.
Hmm…I don’t have a gear symbol. Maybe it’s because I’m using a Chromebook?
