Worried that your PC is running hot? There are several programs out there that will take the temperature of your CPU, today I’ll show you, Open Hardware Monitor. It’s a free program that will monitor the temperature of your CPU and also let you know if your fans are running.
Here’s how to get it: Start by following this link: https://openhardwaremonitor.org/
Click on the Download button. One nice thing about this site is that you don’t see a bunch of misleading download buttons attempting to lure you into downloading other programs.

Then click on Download Now.

Go to your Downloads folder on your PC, select the openhardwaremonitor file and extract the zipped file.

Open the unzipped file and double-click on the program.

You’ll be able to see the temperature of CPU as well as the load being carried by each of your CPUs.

Click on the Options tab to switch to Fahrenheit.

Click File the Hardware to choose which pieces of hardware are monitored.

Your temperature should not get higher than 175 degrees Fahrenheit/80 degrees Celsius. Though, if it is a little bit higher and the PC is running fine, I wouldn’t worry.
