If there’s a program on television about Egypt, I’ve probably seen it. I inherited a passion for the subject from my father and eagerly look forward to any news about new discoveries, so when I found this site exhibit, I knew I was going to be sharing it with all of you.

This online exhibit about Egypt is brought to you by the Google Cultural Institute and is based on an exhibit at the British Museum.

It traces the history of Egypt from the time it entered the Roman Empire under Augustus through the end of the Fatimid Caliphate.
