I had to reset my default browser on my Android phone the other day. I’d downloaded Firefox browser and it had inserted itself as my default.
Firefox is a fine browser but it’s not what I wanted for my default. Here’s how you can change your default browser in Android.
Start by tapping on Settings.
Scroll down to Apps and tap on it.
You can scroll down the list and select the app you’d prefer as your default browser.
Scroll down to App settings and tap on Set as default.
Tap on Browser app and you can choose between all of the browsers available on your phone. In addition to the Samsung and Chrome apps that came with my phone, I’ve also added Firefox and Edge.
