You Mac has a nifty utility that can measure the digital color value of pixels displayed on the screen. Let’s check out how it works.
Start by opening the Finder on your Mac. Type in ‘Digital Color Meter’ and click on the results.
Here’s what the app looks like when it’s open.
Move the cursor over the image you want to get the color value for.
Move the slider bar above Aperture Size to adjust the number of pixels you’re sampling.
Click the drop-down window to choose how you’d like to have the color values displayed.
