  1. From my experience;Facebook is like the old Eagles song, “Hotel California”…”you can check out anytime you want; BUT YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE”
Several years ago I found that I was posting a msg. to contacts on my friends list for some spam outfit “News 8 reports…” I contacted everyone and explained that this was not from me. So I went to my ‘likes’ folder and found a collection of ‘likes’ which I didn’t click on…tried to delete them and they wouldn’t delete…went to FB help and they sent me to another site where there were others with the same issue, but no resolution.

So, I deleted everything including friends and tried to delete my account and that didn’t work so I changed my email password to a non-existent one…I haven’t nor ever plan to return. But I still get notifications from facebook which are auto-spammed on my old yahoo account. I’m finished with social networking for good!

  2. Thanks for sending that, Cyn. Might be useful, some day. I remember some time ago, I lost my Facebook account and had a devil of a time getting it back. Maybe this will help if that ever happens to me again.

  3. Pingback to old worldstart site should be removed as it produces “This site can’t be reached”.
