File Explorer: Quick Access

Let’s check out a handy feature of File Explorer in Windows 10. While it’s not a new feature, I guess we could call it newish. If you’ve recently upgraded to Windows 10 or haven’t done a lot of exploring of File Explorer, it may be brand new to you.

Let’s start by opening File Explorer.

Right at the top of File Explorer, you’ll see Quick Access.

Click the arrow, next to it and you’ll see all of the items pinned to Quick Access.

To see other folders like One Drive or Downloads, Documents, and Pictures on your PC, keep scrolling down.

To unpin an item from Quick Access, right click and choose Unpin.

To add an item to Quick Access, right click on it in File Explorer and choose Pin to Quick access.
