The AccuWeather app is one of the most popular weather apps around. One of the convenient features is the ability to show the weather in different locations. I always keep an eye on the weather in my hometown in addition to the weather in my neck of the woods.
One of the most frequently asked questions around here is how to add or delete locations from the app.
To add or remove a location, start by tapping the location at the top of your screen.
Locations will open.
Type in the name of the location you want to add. If there’s more than one location with that name, make sure to choose the correct one. Tap the + icon above Favorite next to the location you want.
You can also decide if you want to receive notifications about weather warnings from that area.
Deleting locations is pretty easy, too. Just tap your Location at the top of your screen. All of your locations should be displayed. You’re supposed to be able to swipe left on a location to delete it. I could not get that to work properly. I suggest tapping on Edit.
Tap the minus icon next to the location you wish to delete. Then select Done.
