Here’s an easy trick to sign your name on a Word Document, even if you don’t have a touch screen to draw on. With this tip, you can do it easily with your mouse or touchpad.
Open the document you wish to sign and then click Insert up at the top.
Choose Shapes.
From the Shapes menu select the Freeform tool
Then click and hold the mouse or trackpad while you draw your signature.
