The beloved MS Paint program is still going strong in Windows 11 but it has a new look. Let’s check it out. We’ll start with the icon. It’s had a colorful update.
Here’s what the paint desktop looks like. I’m not crazy about it. I hate low-contrast looks.
The icons for the familiar controls have been redesigned.
The drop-down menu controls are still pretty much the same.
It took me a few minutes to find the re-size icon.
Fill and outline icons look a bit different, too.
The redesigned text tool also offers background fill.
The functions are still pretty much the same once you get used to navigating the redesigned controls.
