We’re continuing our look at Windows 11 Settings. Today, we’ll take a look at Update Settings. Start by clicking the search icon and typing Settings. Click on the result.

Here’s the new look:

At the left, click on Windows Update.

At the top, you’ll see your current update status.

Below that, you’ll see options to pause updates (no, you can’t turn automatic updates off in Windows 11.)

You can also check your Update history.

Choose Advanced options to get updates for other Microsoft options, set Active hours, and control how updates are delivered over metered connections.

You can also join the Windows Insider Program and have the opportunity to try out the latest version of Windows before it’s released to the general public.
