If you were a fan of Lynn Johnston’s For Better or For Worse comic strip that ran in newspapers from 1979 until 2008, you’ll really enjoy this site. Even if you aren’t familiar with the strip, this is a great place to discover this enjoyable slice-of-life strip about a Canadian family dealing with life’s ups and downs with humor.
After Johnston retired, the site started the strip over from the beginning. There’s a new strip posted every day, many of which have added commentary from Lynn Johnston. She’ll talk about what inspired the strip, what was going on in her family at the time, things she wishes she’d written differently, or the reaction to specific strips from readers.
It’s an enjoyable look at the creative process and a fun walk down memory lane through the 80s and 90s.
