Yesterday, I introduced you to the free online photo editor, Canvas. (You can click here to read that tip) Today, we’ll learn about even more features of this program.
Click the pencil icon to draw on your image.
Select a color, brush type, and size.
Then use your mouse or stylus to draw on the image.
Click the A+ icon to add text.
Select color or font.
When you choose a font, you can search by name and also filter by style of font.
Click the big + sign in the circle to add a text box.
Type your text in the box.
To adjust size or rotation, just grab the handles.
At the left, you’ll find controls to duplicate, flip, bring text to front, and delete. Click the gear icon for more options.
There are a lot of great options like shadow, outline, texture, gradient, and opacity for adjusting text.
The text tool is actually pretty darn impressive.
We’ll continue our look tomorrow in part 3.
