Monsters Among Us

Someone asked me today where I got the idea for some of disturbing crimes depicted in my novel "What the Chat Dragged In." I explained that all of the crimes in my books are based on real crimes I've encountered as a crime journalist or learned about from other people. Let's take a look at a recent arrest that I have no doubt will someday make its way into a book in one form or another. I've also included some important warning for parents.
