I’ve been getting a ton of questions about how to make video calls using Zoom. So I decided to do a special series. So far, we’ve learned how to get started with Zoom.
Now, let’s start our first conference call. I’m rocking my COVID-19 ponytail in this shot.
To add others to the call, go to the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. Choose Invite.
Here’s what your phone screen will look like.
Tap Participants to get started.
You can invite someone to join using your default email program, Gamail, or Yahoo Mail.
You can also copy the URL and the meeting invitation to put in a message.
Here’s what the email will look like. It contains a link to the meeting, the meeting ID, and the password for entering the meeting.
This is what the message will look like to the person you invite.
When the recipient clicks on the link, they’ll need to give permission to open Zoom.
Then they will be participating in the call with you. This is a two-person call.
Here’s a four-person call. Up to 100 people can participate in a call using the free plan.
Now, all that’s left to do is start talking. We’ll explore more in part 4. Click here to read
